Starting from a template
A template is a Blueprint the Tsuaa team already built. You answer its questions (which channel, which role), and you get your own Blueprint, as a draft, ready to test. From then on it's yours: change it like any other.
Creating a Blueprint from a template
- Click New Blueprint, then choose a template under Or start from a template. The Blueprint takes its name, which you can change.
- Answer its questions: a channel of the server, a role, a number or a prefilled text. An optional question says so.
- Click Create. The editor opens on the Blueprint: test it, then put it online.
Its messages, buttons and command are in your dashboard's language.
Changing the answers
In the editor, open the Blueprint's window (its name, at the top): Template settings, at the top of the Overview, holds the questions and your answers. A changed answer is saved with the draft, and applies at the next deploy.
In a formula field, the answers are under Template: {{ setup.welcome_channel }}. A channel, a role or a member is its Discord id there.
Welcome
Each new member is mentioned in the chosen channel, with your welcome message, their avatar and "You're member number 1,248". They then get the chosen role, if you chose one.
- Questions: the welcome channel, the message (prefilled), the role (optional).
- Bot permissions: Send Messages, Embed Links, Manage Roles. The bot's role must be above the one it gives.
Tickets
/ticket opens a private thread in the chosen channel, with the member and the team's role, and the subject if they give one. A Close the ticket button, in the thread, closes and locks it.
- Questions: the tickets channel, the role that answers them.
- Bot permissions: Create Public Threads and Create Private Threads, Send Messages, Embed Links, Send Messages in Threads, Manage Threads.
Levels
Each message from a member earns 15 to 25 XP, at most once a minute. Level 1 takes 100 XP, level 2 takes 400, level 5 takes 2,500. A new level is announced in the chosen channel, and the chosen level gives a role. /level shows a member their level, their XP and a progress bar.
- Questions: the announcements channel, the reward role (optional), the level that gives it (5 by default).
- The Variables: each member's XP and level (
levels_xp,levels_level) can be read and corrected on the Variables page. - Bot permissions: Send Messages, Embed Links, Manage Roles.
