Condition
Branches the flow based on a rule.
- Free
- Outputs: Yes, No
There is a single condition node type — what it checks is a rule tree, not a set of scalar parameters, so every rule kind below is a way to configure the same node, not a separate node type.
Parameters
Configured via the rule tree editor, not a parameter list — see Conditions for how rules combine (a single check, or a group of checks combined with All of/Any of). Every operand shown below accepts a {{...}} reference like any other template field.
| Kind | Checks | Fields |
|---|---|---|
| Comparison | Compares two values (equals, greater than...) | left, right, operator (equals/>/>=/</<=/includes/starts_with/ends_with) |
| Value is empty | Whether a value is empty/unset | value |
| Matches a pattern (regex) | Whether a value matches a regular expression | value, pattern |
| Member has role | Whether a member has a specific role | member, roleId |
| Member has permission | Whether a member has a specific permission | member, permission |
| All of (AND) | A group where every nested rule must pass | rules (nested rule list) |
| Any of (OR) | A group where at least one nested rule must pass | rules (nested rule list) |
Every kind also accepts an optional invert flag (negates the result) — there's no separate "not equals"/"not includes" kind, invert covers that uniformly.
Context this node produces
A Condition always writes the same shape, regardless of which kind it uses — only left/right are specific to the comparison kind:
| Field | Type | Nullable |
|---|---|---|
result | boolean | No |
left | string | Yes |
right | string | Yes |
